Coax signal is causing bad pixelation

Simon287

Bad picture pixelation, diagnostics say coax signal is fair and could affect live TV, which it is, engineer came last week and changed all the connectors, worked fine for a day but now back to being bad again?

Any ideas?

Really bad today, one tv feed is al ist impossible to watch, the other one not so bad, so either a bad cable or box?

If you've got multiple boxes and only one is affected, swap them round. Does the fault follow the box move or remain with the in-room cabling?

Hi @Simon287

Thanks for joining me on PM and confirming the details needed to book the engineer in, this is for the pixelation on both TV boxes.

There will be no charge for this visit unless:
•              The engineer diagnoses the faults as not being caused by our network/equipment
•              The engineer discovers that the fault or problem relates to your equipment
•              The engineer discovers that the fault or problem relates to any system that we are not responsible for
The engineer will confirm during their visit if any of these instances apply, and if so, a £25 charge will be applied to your account.
Please ensure there is someone over the age of 18 present at the time of the visit. If you need to change or cancel your appointment you can do this online or via the MyVM app by 4pm the day before the appointment.
If you do miss an agreed appointment for any reason, a £25 missed appointment charge will be applied to your account on the day of the appointment.

Please let us know how the visit goes or if you ever need further assistance, do pop back to the community :).
