BBC sound drops for a second or two every couple of minutes

Hi, this is a new problem for us. Only happens in BBC, sound drops for a second or two every couple of minutes. We’ve reset the box, checked the cables which is the usual advice from Virgin customer services, nothing works. No other channels or Apps are affected. How can I fix this annoying problem? Thanks in advance, David

Is this on all BBC channel or just one like BBC 2 for example?

Are you finding this happening on any channels or just is it everything?

Does the same problem occur when using the alternative BBC1 channel on 861 or on the national variations for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales on 862,863, and 864?
