Apps & catch up not working

Hi. So for a while now, my box has been playing up. I cannot access catch up or any apps. It says not available - code cs2400. Usually restarting my box fixes the issue but now that isn't working anymore. I think my box is faulty and I need it replaced. I have phone anxiety so I do not want to ring virgin up. I have tried online chat but it was just a bot and was not helpful. Please can someone reach out? Thank you.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry to hear of the box issue but thanks for letting us know of the error code you're getting. 

How is the box connected to the internet, wired/wireless? If it's next to or near the router and currently connected wireless, can you connect it via Ethernet cable to see if that fixes it?

My router is next to the box and is connected via the Ethernet cable. I have checked all the cabling and can't see anything wrong with any of the connections. I really just want someone to replace the box. Thank you.

Can you do a factory reset of the box please to see if this resolves the issue?

Hi. I did a factory reset. It did initially solve the problem, but the next day, it stopped working again. I just need a new box!!

How has this been since your last post? If you're still having issues can you please ensure the box is switched on so we can run through diagnostics?

It is still not working. I cannot watch catch up, access any apps and my recordings keep failing. The box is on. 

@Alex_RM i don't want you to run anymore tests. I have tried everything. I just want you to send me an engineer to fit another box. Please. I have been dealing with this issue for months I just want it sorted!!
