360 watchlist queries

Hi,

Just migrated to 360 and have some queries/issues. I've added the below show to my watchlist.

1. Why are there episodes duplicated? "Mysterious Mummies" in the example below (plus numerous other episodes)

2. Is there anyway to remove episodes from the watchlist. I know it says "watched" if I've watched them, but I would rather just delete them as I would on the old box for series links. I don't see the point of having a thousand episodes that all state "watched"

3. What is the significance of the dates and times below in the 2nd and 3rd columns below? "Available" suggests the show is available to watch and "41 min" I would assume is the duration of the show. Why does Ep9 below show "Mon 26 Aug" and "13:50"

    Hi phillyt2k

Highlight the program on the 'watched' list rail  on the Home screen and press the contextual key on the 360 remote (the three dots) You will then see a pop up window with three options:- Info, Remove from watchlist, and Episodes  -  click on 'Remove from watchlist'

      Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Are you talking about the recording's though rather than the watchlist

Recordings have the options of "Info, Remove from watchlist, and Episodes" like you suggested. But the watchlist has the below. Picking "Remove from Watchlist" here removes the whole show.......EVERY episode 😌

  • Hey phillyt2k, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this.

Did the above advice help at all?

I would also advise to reset it from the mains.

      Hi,

What are you sorry about? I asked 3 questions but I'm not sure if your response is for any of them.

      1. Why are there episodes duplicated?

      2. Is there anyway to remove episodes from the watchlist?

      3. What is the significance of the dates and times below in the 2nd and 3rd columns below?

Could you also advise how your suggestion to "reset it from the mains" would answer any of the queries above? I suppose it could apply to the duplicated episodes. I did try that but it didn't work.

        Hi phillyt2k,

Thanks for coming back to us on this one.

In terms of the duplicated episodes, when a series is added to the watchlist, it will pull anything for that show so if you have a series link set up for recording the show, it will show that plus any catch-up or on demand episodes. It will also pull it from multiple channels such as when checking this show, it shows on Sky History, Sky History HD and on Blaze so it will pull it from each channel. This explains the duplications.

In terms of the dates, if it's been recorded, this will be the date it was recorded, if it's pulled from on demand or catch-up, this will be the date that the episode will be available to/from.

In terms of removing from the watchlist, I can see you've located this by your screenshot. When removing from the watchlist, it will remove everything from there. You'll still be able to access any recorded episodes via your Recordings however any On demand episodes will no longer show.

I hope that answers your questions but if you have any more, pop back and let us know.

        Thanks,
