360 box not recording

For the last week our 360box will not record, just gives message ‘sorry cant do this now, try again later’. Also cannot play back previous recorded programmes.  Cannot use on demand. Cannot pause live TV or rewind live TV.  We have tried switching from the ethernet cable to wifi.  Both coming up with 96% signal so assuming the box is at fault. So all we can do is watch normal TV. Very frustrating.  Any ideas?
