recently received a new tivo remote but it wont work through a closed cupboard door which the old one did.
any suggestions as to how we can sort this

Hey espiraggs96, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this.
Is the remote control changing channels okay?
Also is the volume button working on it?
I would also try changing the batteries.
