TiVo glitch - upgrade possible?

Hi - For a few years our TiVo box glitches when playing recordings - some are worse than others and I suppose we’ve just lived with it. I suspect that I may be eligible for an upgraded box but not sure. Had this one for at least 5 years

Hi @NigelEbb 

Do you also have any problems if you pause a live channel and then press play? If so this would suggest a hard drive problem and your box should be replaced.  VM are now replacing faulty tivo's with V6 boxes free of charge providing you also have broadband with VM.  Please note a box chnage would mean you losing all recordings annd series links.
