On demand service stopped working

Hello, I've been using the on demand function to watch a box set. Everything has been ok until today, I am getting " this show is temporarily unavailable " error 602..

I can get TV, and access ITVX, BBCi player and recordings etc. I have rebooted the tivo, router etc, nothing helps. I am due to leave VM in 12 days and would like to finish the box set. Any advice, thanks,

Hi @daveydear

Which boxset and episode(s) are you having the problem with?

Have you tried switching the box off as suggested by /tv-error-code/602 ?

Code 602 means the TV box is having an issue playing the programme you want to watch

Please try playing it again. If there's still an issue, reboot the TV box by switching it off and on again at the power socket. Let the TV box start up for about 10 minutes, and after it's finished you should be able to watch TV again.

The Service you do for others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth - Muhammad Ali

The  box set is the walking dead, It's included in my package on Sky max. I am up to series 8 episode 9. I've tried other episodes ,but none work. I've turned off at the wall twice. I  have been watching every day for weeks until today. I will try turning off once more. Thanks for replying 🙂

Also I'm getting the same problem from any selection from on demand menu, no program will load.

I've turned off at the wall and waited a few minutes,no luck

Having same problem on 2 separate boxes

Apparently I have V6 boxes not Tivo's .  Anyway the issue is now showing up on the VM status website and is due to be fixed soon, cheers

@daveydear

Both TiVo & V6 run TiVo-software, but V6 are much newer hardware - https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box
