4:40pm today. Just settling down to watch a Star Trek movie and five minutes into the film, the screen froze.
Checked all cables and switched off at the mains, but just getting a “Starting Up” message and the digi box constantly flashing a red light.
My next door neighbour has Virgin Media and is having same problem.
Any one else having issues? I live in South Essex.

Have you (and your neighbour) used the /check-services/ function? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there.
If nothing is showing you could also try the automated Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

Thank you. I’ve tried your suggestions and it hasn’t resolved the issue. Looks like I’ll have to call out an engineer. Thank you for your help.

Problem resolved. Engineer came and replaced digi box, which had died on me!
