HDD on its way out or signal level pixelation?

Fearing it's the former but hoping it's the latter.

Can I beg a quick signal level check please, not quite ready for a swap out as yet - not sure my aging brain is up to coping without TiVo handling my TV needs after 23 years (as of mid September, still have the series 1 box upstairs if anybody wants a really shiny, but now fairly useless, lump of a box 😁).

Thanks in advance.

What are the symptoms your TiVo has?

Signal issues would cause pixellation on live TV. HDD problems would only affect recorded & delayed content.

In either case, faulty TiVo's are replaced with the much quicker & more capable V6 - which still runs the same TiVo-software.

Hi sjp123,

Thanks for posting and sorry to see you've had some issues with your TiVo, we've had a look at things from our side and sent a signal to the box.

Let us know if you're still having issues with it and we can pop you over a private message, to get a few more details.

Thanks both - will check thing out and get back later in the week.

Very happy to hear the V6 runs on Tivo, did not realise this.
