suddenly stopped being able to record from Virgin TV go app

message says “recording failed”

Thanks for taking the time to post your query in regards to recording via the TV Go app, we understand the confusion and appreciate you raising this with us via the forums. Welcome to the community.

 

Can you confirm what content you have tried to record and gotten the message? As there is some copyright material available via the app some content isn't recordable due to legalities and regulations. Are you able to record the same content via your set top box?

Okay, can you please try uninstalling, and reinstalling the app to see if this helps?

I have tried this twice without any luck

im also wondering if it having trouble connecting to my virgin TV and if this makes a difference
