Hi,

attempting to watch Eurosport on the virgintvgo page, receive the "Not Available - Sorry - We can't play this at the moment 1002 error. Multiple browsers and devices, all other channels seem fine.

Exactly the same symptoms as this post below which was taken to PM, no resolution posted:

https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/TV-on-the-go/Channel-4-Not-available-Sorry-we-can-t-play-this-a...

Was working fine last week.

Noticed that the episode just before the one that kicked off at 12:00 BST was a link back to something that aired on Sunday.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Wait until the next programme & try it again. Since TNT took over the BT Sports channels they have been blocking some content on the TV Go app (so that you can only view at your home address via a TV box). It’s no coincidence that they also now own the Eurosport channels, so could be doing likewise with them. If the next programme can be viewed, you more than likely have your answer.

1002 & 1100 are content block codes.

Not that this helps you, but I m also getting the same error for Eurosport 1 (Tour de France) but the error code I am getting is -1100.

Eurosport 2 is fine...it's just Eurosport 1 that has the issue for me.

Hi pinion

If you are referring to Eurosport 1 and the live Tour de France then I currently have the same problem accessing that channel via TVGo using a browser (I've tried Chrome, Edge and Firefox) but there are no problems with Eurosport 2

The Tour de France on Eurosport 1 is working OK using the tvgo android app.

Sick to death of the fault ridden Virgin TV Go app.

Not Available - Sorry - We can't play this at the moment 1002 error.

Screw this I'm ending my contract. Screw Virgin and Liberty Media.

Just had the same issue with Eurosport 1 (1100) on my iPad. Restarted the app. Same problem. Restarted again, Went to TNT Sports 1, then Eurosport 2, then Eurosport 1, which now streams without issues.

Hi folks,

that's interesting feedback, especially about the content block codes. I've watched every stage so far this year the same way and it had always been fine.

So it came back about 16:00 BST for me, didn't even need to clear cookies but what I noticed this time is it had asked me for a new device registration, it had done that earlier in the morning and when if finally worked it seemed to progress the UI to show that it successfully registered a new device. In my previous attempts it had never done that.

Very curious. Back now, thanks for all your input.
