Clarification needed on watching sky sports / tnt sports on multiple devices / TVs

Tuning in

Hi all,

Currently have sky sports and TNT sports through now tv which enables us to watch via chromecast or fire stick on multiple TVs. Considering changing the sports packages to Virgin but unsure if we would still be able to watch Sky / TNT sports via firestick / chromecast on other TVs or would it be laptop / tablet / mobile devices only in addition to the virgin tv box(es)?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Hey omvm12, thank you for reaching out and to answer your question you would be able to watch it through the channels via your box only.

You would also get access to watch in on 5 devices via the Sky Go and TV GO app.

Virgin's TV agreements only allow you to watch on a TV at the registered address the account is held. As TV Go is not "ring fenced" to your home WiFi & network, it would be possible to "cast" to a TV at another address, which is not allowed. Hence the facility is blocked & the TV Go app only works on mobiles/tablets.
