Just got a Stream Box and it seems to be affecting broadband speed or is it just general problems in the Stevenage area? Using the Virgin router in Modem Mode, followed by an Archer C9 router. The Stream box has been tried in both Ethernet and WiFi configurations but both give buffering icon on screen. Speed hiccups are occurring on the gaming consoles (WiFi) as well, no matter whether Stream box is On or Off. Seems to be worse when connected though. Checking Service Status on https://www.virginmedia.com/help/service-status never shows any problems. Any ideas?

Try the automated Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.
What happens if you test in hub only mode?

No faults reported on either the phone no or the web.
Trying in router mode will take a bit of planning and digging for equipment. Not sure I have a portable laptop/etc with ethernet to revert it. Also timing the tests to avoid screams from the different users will be an exercise in diplomacy. Will plan it........
