Yeah VPN will work fine as it bypasses Virgin's Cloudflare PNI, in my case I just routed all Cloudflare's subnets over a secondary line, and totally forgot about it to be honest!
If anyone from Virgin wants to raise this, please ask networks to look at the utilisation of your Cloudflare PNI at 162.158.32.254/31
This is definitely a VM issue. Over cellular or another ISP, everything works, suddenly over VM and it's intermittent. Although no longer a customer, I checked at a family members house. Guess what? Unless VM fix this, they can kiss good bye to another long term customer there as well.
