As you seem to be helping a lot of other people I wonder if you could help me!!! So been with Virgin and O2 for a while and had 1GB speed, I upgraded my Virgin Contract changed and noticed that for some reason my broadband speed has dropped to 500mb?? I have a O2 Contract which VM arreanged for me last year. Can you help?

What speeds do you get on a laptop/computer connected directly to the Hub on an ethernet cable ?

Check the conf settings on the Hub. It will show what speed has been provisioned.
It's Configuration tab - Primary Downstream Service Flow - Max Traffic Rate.

check you've not been moved to 350 and been volted to 500.

Thank you for your post. I'm very sorry to hear about the unexpected change in speed.
When you upgraded your package you should have been sent a contract that details the package.
What did that advise your broadband speed would be?

Volt M500, was on 600 before renewing

Sorry to hear this, what does your paperwork suggest you should be on?
With the 600MBS, its only upgrades to 500MBS to 1GB we don't sell 600MBS this was most likely a free speed upgrade.
