Ok, can you check what the connection speed is in the network settings of the OS?

That's your problem then, connected at 29Mbps, which is probably the 2.4GHz band, rather than 5GHz!

You need to check if your wireless card is capable of 5Ghz, else you'll be seeing slow speeds regardless.

But it is capable of both bands

What Hub do you have?

Your device may be connecting to the 2.4Ghz band due to signal strength, meaning you may need a pod (booster) from VM.

They are free on Gig1.

Ok, sounds like a pod is required.

Odd that the signal strength is full, though.

Can you try forcing the Wi-Fi card to 5Ghz?

Another option is to split the bands in the Hub settings, so you have two SSIDs.

How would I go about getting one or forcing it to 5ghz?
