Internet bad months after "cooling off period"

Hello.

So between the time I got my Internet with VM installed and working to the end of the "cooling off period" my Internet was great. Now it's been months since I got my services at my new address, nearly every week to every other week there is an "outage" in my area and my Internet either goes down entirely, intermittently, or it just takes forever to load pages. Virgin Media's technical support line tells me to:

  • Reboot router (done numerous times, no help)
  • Claims I'm using WiFi when I'm using Ethernet
  • Claims its my PC
  • Tells me to factory reset my router

With these types of suggestions and claims, its ridiculous and absurd that they are "tech support staff" who read from a script in front of their faces. They clearly have no actual knowledge of networking so why on earth would they be on their tech support team? It makes no sense. Not only that it just frustrates customers having Internet issues.

Of course I don't understand the router Power (dBmV) things so I'll post them here and see what y'all think.

Your up qam levels should all be 64 - but 4of them  have dropped to 32.

Switch the Hub of for 5 minutes - then switch it back on and see if they return to 64.  If they don't then you will need a Tech visit to investigate
