Internet Speed - Awful

For approx 4 weeks my internet is exactly 10% of what it should be. I pay for 1gb and I'm getting 100mb, most of the time less 80-70mb.

I've reset the hub 5+ times and restart it everyday, 1 min after restarting the speed throttles down to said speeds.

I take it this site is the correct one to use for gauging speeds

Yes, it tests the speed directly to the HUB over the VM network.

It appears your wired device/s are negotiating to 10/100 (100Mbps) instead of 1Gbps, so the speeds reported make sense.

What device is it?

If it's a PC/laptop you should be able to check the speed in the network settings.

It could be a number of things including:

  • Faulty HUB.
  • Bad ethernet cable.
  • Faulty ethernet adapter in device.
