Account Upgrade from M250-M350 Volt speed boost

Hello,

I have the M125 plan currently boosted by the Volt speed boost to M250. I have ordered an upgrade to the M350 plan via the Volt speed boost. I currently have the Hub 3.0, will this need to be replaced? If it's just a software thing, how long does Virgin normally take to do this?

I need a faster upload speed due to the length of time it currently takes for the uploading of video files, and the M350/M500 seem to have the same upload speeds. If it's still too slow then I guess the M500 volt speed boosted to the 1GB package will be the next potential option, but I understand that would need upgraded equipment.

TIA

No - Hub3 is good to 500.  Upgrades can take up to 2 weeks - but it usually is quicker than that.

If you go to 1GB upload will be 100Mbps   -  they will send you a Hub4 or Hub5.  Or could get a tech install.

If you had M125 and you boosted the speed up to M250 then you are unable to boost to a higher speed for free.

The Volt Speed boost can only be applied once.

If you are wanting a higher speed than M250 then you will need to negotiate a new price point either over the phone (150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone)  or via whatsapp (0780 3089 684) unless there is an offer showing when you look at regrades within My Virgin Media.

It did give me the option and then I did get a confirmation email. Just to confirm I have volt upgrading M125-M250, the M250-M350 is a paid upgrade. If it's still not enough then I have the option showing of paying to upgrade from M350 to M500 or 1GB. Hopefully it will work in less than two weeks.
