Someone else is currently logged into the settings page
I while since I had this on my hub 3 and I always log out properly so unusual to get this message.
I cleaned my browsing history in the edge browser and logged in after that and changed my password as this was not normal, so wondered why it happened or if it was hacked.
I will power my hub 3 on and off as there are a lot of errors, not sure if I should do a full factory reset though?
I also checked my own router which was OK.

Hi ALF28,
Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome back, from what you are advising you use our Router in Modem Mode and use a 3rd party one, we do advise a rebooting our Router every now and again also if the Router is constantly in modem mode it won't be getting any update, try a pin reset, push a pin/ paper clip in the reset hole and keep it pressed in for a full times 1 minute, this will put the Router back in Router4 Mode.
Regards
Paul.

Thanks a lot for getting back to me, I have followed your advice and done the hub 3 pin reset and then switched back into modem modem mode. It did the same thing again after updating the password would not let me login until I cleaned my edge browser browsing history. It has always been a software problem with hub 3 which is why I use my own router.
The hub 3 dates back to 2019 so is 5 years old, I presume now it will be fully updated.
I also power off and on say once a month as this clears the faults in the network log. There are always lots of warning in the log marked critical but it has worked OK, the pin reset might clear that issue.
All good now.

The Hub 3 I have now does this now and again. It doesn’t bother me as I only ever look at the status pages. Modem mode as well.

When in modem mode using own router the security is within own router which has logs etc and firewall.
It is odd the hub 3 can lock out saying some one else is logged in even after a password change, my hub 3 had loads of critical warning in the network log.even after a pin reset but I think that is normal
VM do not update the hubs unless they are faulty, hub4 & hub 5 are now used for faster speeds.
I presume the hub 3 is secure, it was the hub 2 that had security issues.

That Hub 3 problem has been around for sometime and I doubt if it will ever be resolved. I don't think it's anything malicious, just something amiss in the Hub's "web" coding. There really should be a method to force log out apart from power cycle/resets.
