Virgin Media recommend F-Secure software for Internet Security.
My friend who is 86 has been using this for 5 years with no issues. However , he has recently bought a Doro 8200 Smartphone which uses Android software. When he tried to download the F-Secure app from Google Playstore he got a message to say the app "wasn't compatible" with the phone.
I contacted F-Secure and they confirmed that this was the case and they told me that they will not be remedying this problem anytime soon.
Doro phones are primarily designed for older customers with a simple interface & large icons for ease of use.
Can your Tech people kindly contact F-Secure and ask them to sort the issue ASAP.
Thank you.

I doubt if VM will contact F-Secure to request this. Are there any other security packages that the Doro supports? It could well be the limited hardware on the Doro is just not up to it?

I am sure your friend will be quite safe without F-Secure.
The biggest risk is folks at this age { like our parent } can not resist clicking on links
in spam emails and links in scam texts & then enter their personal or payment details
for fake carriers of phantom packages they 'must be expecting'.

I'm surprised that that F-Secure isn't compatable with the Doro 8200 Smartphone as the phone is Android 12 and the F-Secure app only requires Android 10 and above.
