Hi I am coming to the end of my contract and was offered a new deal via my online account, when I accepted the deal it said it was sending me an email but when I checked no email was received so I did the transaction again and realised that Virginmedia were sending it to an email that was very similar to mine but slightly different. I checked my online account and spoke to your sales team and my email address was the correct one I have always had in 15 years with Virginmedia. So where did this different email come from? It suggests a hack to me, and I would like it to be investigated by Virginmedia and my security in their system to be assured.

We're sorry to hear there was a slightly different variation to your email address. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security.
