Can't disable parental controls

Fritz1990

Hi, I'm having issues accessing any website that has any degree of adult content. This is despite having my parental controls disabled. I've tried re-enabling and re-disabling them, but this hasn't worked. I've also tried hard resetting the router, but this hasn't worked either. Issue persists on all browsers and devices. Blocked websites return an ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE code. Any ideas?

I say their is a way around it but one your not going to do it and two its a VM problem.

I give you the option of two doors one tells the truth the other lies which do you choose?

I took the red pill and changed the DNS servers on my devices. A bit of a pain but it did the job.

That would be the normal recommendation, just bypass the VM DNS Servers.  If you had your own Router, it wouldn't be an issue.

Why are they doing this? Is it some authoritarian legislation that has been snuck through while we're distracted by the side show clowns that we call politicians on TV?

There are many, many complaints here about the Parental Controls not working, or working when they are not needed.  TBH, as it is so easy to bypass, and most smart phones use some sort of Private Relay, it's pretty much redundant.  It would be better removed, and hand the responsibility over to the parents?
