Pretty much the title. The Virgin engineer showed me the cut line and said it wouldn't affect my TV.
Anyway, we lost our Sky satellite connection. I asked Virgin and they said it wasn't related to the installation.
It took a couple of months to get a Sky engineer out, but he explained it:
The Virgin engineer, instead of drilling a new hole for the Virgin connection, just cut the SkyTV cable, pulled it out and then stuffed his own cable in (presumably because he couldn't be bothered to do it himself). So the Sky engineer ended up doing the Virgin guys' work for him.
That's crazy, right? It surely can't be normal. Not to mention that I had to pay for SkyTV the whole time.

Hello ajaydel.
Thanks for bringing the poor workmanship to our attention on our community.
This is not a great read at all and we would like to apologise on behalf of the engineer that attended and cut your Sky connection.
You've also mentioned you've been paying for SKY without having the service available, which we'd like to take a look at for you.
First we will need to gain account access, So if you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen that would be great.
