As the title says, I live in a block of 12 flats, Virgin is available on my road, but not my house.
I'm only on currently getting 60mb download speed and everyone around me can get up to 1GB. It just feels like I'm really missing out when its probably minimal work for Virgin.
Is there a reason why I can't access it but everyone else can? I have spoken to my management company a few times for the building and they're pretty good in communication, so I don't understand why we don't have it.

I think it depends what system you have for your tv satellite in your flats. You could ask for a pre install survey and a virgin engineer can see what work is required

Oh really? How do I go about doing that?

Blocks of flats have to be internally wired to the standard required for cable services. There also has to be enough capacity built into the network to sustain adding the number of properties to the network segment. If you are in an area with legacy 1990s infrastructure, you are not likely to get a service until VM overbuilds with full fibre in a few years time.
