Unauthorised Brown Box Installation

I returned home from work yesterday to discovered a brown box installed on the side of my house. I did not authorise anyone to complete this work. 
I am not a customer nor have I ever had any dealings with virgin media to suggest I wanted a brown box. 
I'm finding it difficult to speak with someone to rectify this because I’m not a customer so I require some assistance to enable me to do so.

I'm sorry to hear that there appears to be some equipment installed that you're unfamiliar with. Would you mind providing a photo of what you're referring to? It sounds like you're referring to an external omni box but it'd be great to have a photo for clarification.
