Unable to connect the wall socket

I've just found the connector looks the same as the cable (wall socket side), what kind of connector is needed?

Many thanks

If you have a cable/plug trailing from the wall, you need a coupler adapter to join two plugs together

Also available from the likes of Screwfix, Homebase, Toolstation etc.

The cable trailing from the wall is screw fit. The cable in your hand is push fit.

Thank you, I’m just not sure if they are the same connector type.

They are both F-Type.  Sadly VM have moved to push fit and these can need a very firm hand to push on or to pull off the sockets.  Take care not to damage the socket on the rear of the VM Hub.

If faced with a push fit cable I'd want to replace it with a version fitted with threaded connectors.
