Timelines for street cabinets to be removed?

Could anyone advise where I could find out when a cabinet is likely to be decommissioned and removed from outside our house? There's a new smaller form-factor cabinet that's been installed next to it, and I've seen a couple of engineers moving kit between the two in the last few weeks.  The reason for asking is that we'd like to extend our drive so it would just be useful to know when/if the older cabinet will be removed so we can plan accordingly - it would make our lives a lot easier if we're left with the smaller cabinet as it's tucked a bit further over, but if that's going to be 5 years away we'll adapt our plans accordingly.

New cabinet ref. is WARW-X-DJ02AJ

Old cabinet ref. is KE052D21

VM have not announced any intention to remove cabinets, so I'd plan for it to be there for the next few years at least. Even when they completely cut over to fibre I wouldn't expect proactive removal of the redundant cabinets, they'll likely just be left to degrade and removed ad-hoc when they are reported as being damaged or dangerous.

Older cabinets cannot be decommissioned until all users served from a cabinet have been migrated from coaxial to fibre, and this could easily be 10 years or more as I have reason to believe that final migration is not likely to be completed until around 2040.

Too costly, even if empty they will just leave there.
