I've looked at the threads and have rebooted the hub but not reset it as I need the broadband and don't want to mess it up. Is this something I can ignore or should I do something and if so, what.

My crystal ball suggests this might be a Hub 3, on that basis ...
Login in to the Hub 3 menu at http://192.168.0.1/ use the numeric HUB PASSWORD from the bottom side label. ( this is not the Wi-Fi password )
Run the Network diagnostic tool Scroll down through the results and find the Temperature entry. Is it Normal ?

I'm sorry to hear you're seeing a red light on your Hub. I'm going to send you a private message shortly, to assist further. Please look out for it in the top-right, white envelope or by tappign your profile picture and selecting "Messages".
