I've had virgin media for quite a few years now, and recently noticed cables have started to deteriorate, I have tried to contact VM via phone and been bounced around until I've hung up, I am simply trying to find out how I can get all internal cables replaced

Not as of yet, but where terminals connect to devices I can see bare silver wire at the flexible part, also whatever the tubes connector is, it has started to brown like it's burnt

We can help with this request by booking a technician visit to replace internal cabling, the fact you've mentioned a possible burning risk makes this a priority of course.
