Virgin Media Engineer Arrival time

I'm in exactly the same situation. There's no virgin socket. I've booked an engineer to sort this out. Slot 1pm-6pm. I was wondering, if I'm going to get any text from him beforehand? That would help a lot.

I've only had an engineer for my install, and she texted me to let me know she was coming, and then texted later to explain she was running behind, and before the second text I had a phone call from VM at Manchester telling me she was running late. So in my case, good contact all the way through.
