Pre install date delays. Disabled and virgin don't care

Hi peeps

just brought a new house on the basis than virgin can supply the address as I work from home due to my disability. Moved in on the date of 23rd of December as thats when install date was meant to be.  Been told by some of customer service we need a wayleave agreement and some we don't.  Reading on here I'm now properly petrified VM won't be able to supply my address. I have a 4x2 shared drive but they could easily run a cable down my side of the drive without digging. I've checked every other provider and none can give me the speed I need.   I'm losing my mind reading the many many horror stories on here. VM don't seem to care I'm disabled and could lose my job and house

Hello appaddy

Sorry to hear of the delays to your installation and the concern this has caused, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this via the forums to get some help. Welcome to the community.

When you have spoken to the team have they advised the reason for the delay? You mentioned wayleave being required but have they advised this relates to the driveway? Have they sent any documentation or emails requesting contact details for your neighbours?

Look at using a 30 day contract 4/5G mobile router in the meantime.

Hi matey.  A further update.  They have found my cable which has been cut off 3 meters from my drive.  They now need a wayleave from the council to slice up a bigger part of the road in order to join my connection back up.

Hi @appaddy

Thanks for coming back to the thread.

I'll send you a PM now to assist further.
