Hi, I'm looking for options on what to do with the exposed virgin media cables we had installed 10 or so years ago.
When it was originally installed the wire ran across our driveway and was buried under a very thin layer of concrete, but that quickly broke due to the car driving over it and the wire was exposed and has become a tripping hazard.
Also, the wire runs right up against some large trees further along. The trees need to be cut down/removed as the roots are beginning to impact the property.
What options do I have - would I be able to get an engineer to come round and refit the wire so it doesn't run against the tree, and also is not a tripping hazard? The problem is that once the tree has been cut down I have no idea where the cable will lay, and I'm worried it would be loose again.

Hi AliWhite
Thanks for your post, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thank you for making us aware - we can certainly look into getting the cables reburied and tidied up to remove any risk of a trip hazard.
I've dropped you a PM so I can take your details and arrange this for you.
