No virgin media socket

I’ve just moved into a new flat, the online postcode checker said I’d be fine to install virgin media WiFi, I can’t seem to find an appropriate wall socket. 

does anyone have any ideas?

You connect to the right hand socket under the Telewest box. The new fitting will be push on, not screw. Telewest was one of the companies that merged to make VM.

Hi, thanks for the advice. I’ve tried that now, the box seems to just be flashing green for the past hour or so, do you know what that could mean?

Either the connection is broken or the HUB needs activating:

You might need to unscrew the thing that looks like a long nipple and push the new cable onto that.

Only one side will work with broadband.  You need a visit anyway to replace that old isolator
