I’m a VM customer of many years and am looking into swapping my parents over from their extortionate Sky package with terrible internet speed to VM. They live in a detached house with a block paved drive between house and pavement. VM is available on their road. How do we find out if they can have VM installed?

Just go to the VM website and enter their postcode and house details, it will say if it's available or not. However, whatever you do, don't cancel their existing broadband until after VM is installed and working.
However, why is Sky 'extortionate'?, it's usually pretty similar to other ISP's, and generally cheaper than VM.
Speed wise, can you upgrade with Sky (OpenReach) to FTTP, which will provide you similar speeds to VM.

Thanks for your reply Nigel. They’re paying £144 to Sky for BB, phone and tv inc sport and movies. Same package is Mega volt bundle and is £85 and comes with O2 sim and much faster BB.
