New VM Broadband Installation

Good afternoon All.

In anticipation of getting VM at some point, I had an alkathene pipe and pull wire installed from the boundary wall to the electric meter cupboard INSIDE the property at the same time I was having some lead pipe replaced.

Idea being, VM would tie in at the street, and that cable would come straight inside the house via the alkathene pipe before being connected to the usual internals.

Engineer was meant to visit today to assess the external cabling, but no show and no updates.

Just wondering if the Cable Wall Box that would normally be on the outside of the house, can in fact go inside where the pull wire has been run too ?

Easier & cleaner installation if allowable, but are there regs that require this box to be externally mounted ?

Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry to hear no one has come to the property to check on things yet. We can arrange for a spotter to come and discuss things with you however we would need some information from you. I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space.
