Hi all,
I've just started a new plan with virgin media for broadband, my modem arrived today. I am and old Virgin customer, so Setup was quick and painless as I already have the cables going everywhere throughout my house. Despite this, I still couldn't connect. I have determined the problem to be the box outside on the side of my house, as it was no longer on the side of my house, rather laying lifeless on the ground, rusted and half open. It's been a good few years since I was last with virgin, so i'm not very surprised on the condition. My question is, will it cost me a lot, if anything to get a technician out here to replace this for me? The cables inside seem practically brand new, as they have been untouched, it is only the box outside that has been tormented by harsh environments. Thanks in advance for any help!

Will also quickly add that the box cover has NOT come off/been ripped off. This has just come off naturally, and i fear is now past saving, due to how old it is. To also make it clear, this is the brown box on the outside of my house, at the back.

Please post a photo to assess the damage. VM should fix this free of charge as they own this equipment.
Wait here a couple of days for a VM Mod to pick this up and discuss.

Can't really see the damage through pictures, it's only just come off the wall and seems to have had a lot of water in it after all this time, cover is still on etc.
