Moving my box or cables

Was not sure what section to put this under, first time poster! 

I need to move my Wi-Fi and TV box to the other side of the room. I spoke to a telco friend and they said I just need some extensions to the cables given by VF but the boards soon to  say I need an engineer. 
Any advice is welcome.

You can book a non-fault tech visit for £25.

One of the VM forum team should be able to arrange when they reply here within a few days.

We were going to say we can arrange the relocation from here for you, however after checking a few things from here it looks like you have already done so.

Can we please ask if you were advised about the £25 call out charge?

This will be charged on your next bill viewable through your online account
