Hello I am revamping the living room which means moving the router to the other side of the room.
I’ve noticed the cable coiled in the white box is probably long enough to reach where I require it to be.
are there any issues with me doing this?
seems a bit much £25 just to uncoil a cable and redrill two holes for the box might seem a daft question but reading some of the forum posts I don’t fancy being held accountable for issues in the area just for the sake of moving a pre wired cable 3 mtrs is that.
thanks in advance.

It’s a standard fee for whatever non fault work is done, think yourself lucky used to be £99.
The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Hi and good evening the visit from the engineer went very well.
He relocated as per my conversation with him.
i know you probably don’t have access to who had the job but I would like to say thankyou to the person.
best regards Carl
