Move Router to another room

I'm looking to move my router and it's connection from old home office upstairs to my livingroom downstairs, so that I can use a wired connection. Previous threads seem to suggest there's a fixed fee of £25.00 for this service. Can someone who can arrange an appointment please reach out please ?

Yes, £25 feet for a non fault call out.  A VM Mod should pick this up in a couple of days and discuss with you.

When I needed to do this, I bought a pair of TP-Link powerline adapters and left the router where it was. You can get 500 Mbit twin-packs (you need two) for around £25-£30 if you shop around.

thanks, but i have 1gig at home dont want to drop any speed, i have got a couple of tp link i use for my daughter room previously 🙂

the other kid is older now and has his own room which means my office/mancave has to be sacrificed so i will move my pc and router to the livingroom

Hey Fraggle-Rock, thank you for reaching out and to confirm this is a one off charge of £25.

Let me send you a DM now to sort this out for you.
