I switched to virgin media a couple of months ago from bt, it is god aweful, not looking for tips on how to make it better as i had virin media about 5 years in the past with the same problems. Any wifi cheapish wifi providers that wont disconnnect every good two minutes even if i have multiple devices?

If you are outside of your 14 day cooling off period, VM will throw down all manner of roadblocks and obstacles to stop you leaving (even if you have just cause due to a poor connection).

What actions have you taken so far to get VM to fix the problem (a required step even if you intend/wish to ditch VM)?

Any broadband provider should offer a service that works reliably and as advertised (including VM). Any alternative recommendations you get on here, however, may not translate into a good reliable connection at your own particular location/home.

Any broadband supplier, VM included, provide pretty low-end wireless kit as a freebie.

Have you considered putting your VM hub into modem-mode, and investing in your own in-home wireless setup that 1: Is likely to have better performance than the pound-shop freebie that any ISP provides, 2: Is owned by yourself regardless of who supplies your broadband.

Oddly, this thread is a gripe about VM stating zero interest in fixing the service
and not a hint of concern about paying the fees over the remaining months.
