Installation delays and group litigation

My installation  repeatedly keeps getting cancelled and rescheduled. It's been 2 months since my start date was supposed to happen and the next scheduled visit date I've been given is in over a months time.

Virgin customer services are a disgrace and they won't even talk to me over the phone. I can see I'm not alone in this experience so I am looking in to setting up group litigation at scale representing all the customers experiencing this. Does anybody know if there is any past or ongoing group litigation to join or learn from?

Hello Davidbrunorich.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear about the delays with your installation.

This is something we can take a look at for you from here.

Sadly the group litigation setting up is not something we have any control of.

The main thing thing we would like to help with is getting your services installed.

If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check your logo at the  top right of your screen that would be great.

David, you aren't the first person to have thought of legal action and you probably won't be the last.  You will get the statutory compensation (but will probably have to fight for it) but that covers any commitment they may have.  They are not breaking any laws in delaying your installation.

Virginmedia's appalling customer service is recognised by its bottom place in the Trustpilot and Ofcom tables. They seem to be quite content with it. It's just part of being their customer until a more responsible competitor can offer you a similar broadband package.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.
