I cannot get Virgin Essential despite many hours.

Despite numerous attempts I cannot get Virgin Essential. Finally after many hours and attempts I was told I would receive confirmation via SMS despite never giving my phone number?

Hi Kieron3 

Are you a new or current VM customer?  If a current customer them VM may have taken your contact details via 

your https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2 account. 

If you do have a My Virgin Media account it's worth checking to see that in contains your correct contact details.

Have you tried contacting them via the online messenger chat on the right hand side of the following page

https://www.virginmedia.com/broadband/low-income-families

I have now exchanged 371 whatsapp messages, 4 emails, 15 Web chats and 4 phone calls. 1 engineer who didn't have the correct tools but did manage to charge his drill at my expense and still no broadband. I now have no personal data left and still no broadband

What's happening exactly when you're trying to order the Essentials package? Are you getting stuck at a specific part of the Whatsapp chat?
