Hub 3 “Update in progress” for 2 full hours

EDIT: Restart fixed it. Initially i was too worried i’d disturb the update by restarting but it worked just fine.

Hi!

I received my Hub 3 today after signing up for Virgin Media. I set it up, and i can connect to the wifi, but on the admin page it just says ‘Update in progress’. 

I figured i would just leave it for an hour as that should have been more than enough time. Alas it hasn’t been, and its now been twice that, and i’ve decided to post here to see if an employee can check the status of my wifi hub, in case its broken or something.

Problem sorter

Try a 60 second pinhole reset of the hub with no ethernet connection.
