My family has has just bought a Fibre plan today (M125) and I was wondering how it will be setup. I have done some research online and I found that in order to get internet from the router I would need to connect it to a Virgin Media Wall Socket. The problem is we live in a rented flat (on the 3rd floor) and have not found any Virgin Media Wall Sockets anywhere (our worries is that it might be in another persons room). The Fibre Broadband will be delivered to us in 3-4 Days and there is no engineer coming because we were told to be able to do a Quick Start. Is there anyway to have it setup without needing to pay for an engineer? P.s. my Family has not gotten any signal for the past 2 weeks due to signal tower complications from Vodafone and that is the reason we have switched to another internet provider.

You will not have to pay for a technician to do the install.
You will only have been sent a QuickStart pack if the premises previously had VM. The box and cables may have been removed by the previous occupiers. There should be an omnibox, often brown or gray, on the outside of the premises, try tracing the cable/s from it. In flats there may be a comms cabinet/location that a technician will use. If no luck call the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 8AM- 9PM Monday - Friday or 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday
