Flat opposite in the same block can get VM but I can't?

Hi,

I would like to get VM in my flat as it offers the higher speeds in the area. I live in a small block with 6 flats. I am on the first floor and the flat opposite mine (literally 5 steps away) can get Virgin Media but when I use the sign up tool on the website it says my property is not available? How is that possible when my neighbor on the same floor has it installed? Surely that means the building must have it available? If anyone could assist with this it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi tbx,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Forums. It's great to have you on board with us in the Community and even better that you are wanting Virgin Media services.

When it comes to blocks of flats, it's not unusual that we're able to provide some homes but not others. This is due to the way we provide our network. I am happy to find out if there are any current plans in the making for your address. To do that I will need your full address. I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

Thanks,
