Engineer exterior coaxial cable relocation

Hello, I've recently moved into a new property and the current location of the coaxial cable box is in my living room. Unfortunately I'm not able to directly connect my pc (in the office) to the router causing me to have substantially slower and inconsistent wifi speed. (I do have a booster but I want a direct connection into my router).

I would like to book an engineer to rewire the exterior cable around the back of the property directly into my office(The office has a coaxial type box in the wall just no cable)

TLDR
Rewire exterior coaxial box / cable to the back of my property for better connection.

I understand there is a £25 no fault fee which I am more than happy to pay for this service.

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post.

Thanks, I have called up but their customer services are notoriously awful...

Hi Bettinaalison,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

This is certainly something we can booked in for you however it is worth noting in advance that the engineer may not be able to move the external cable. What they may need to do instead, is re-locate the hub to your office in which case they usually do this internally using coaxial cable. I can get the visit booked and then the engineer can talk through your options with you before the work is carried out.

I have sent you a direct message to allow us to get some details from you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

Thanks,
