Cancelling and rejoining in another name

Hi all,

So my contract is due and I am going to cancel. If I get a call from the retention team then all good. Else I am going to join using my spouse’s name/ details.

Was wondering if anyone else did this ? And how many days should I expect to be without internet?

Better to say that your spouse is going to join otherwise it sounds a bit like fraud to me. 

Others may advise of their experience.
