Cable too short

The wall box in my living room is on the opposite side to the tv/broadband and the white cable supplied isn't long enough to allow me to plug the TV and internet boxes in so they're currently in the middle of the floor. Can anyone advise what longer cables I'll need to be able to get them closer to the actual TV and not in the way 🙂

VM use specialised cabling, as uniquely they use radio frequencies also used by other broadcast users & mobile phone networks. Any ingress from these users would disrupt their network. Also changing the cable length may require adjustments in the street cabinet to keep your services working correctly.

Give VM a call on 150 from your Virgin phone (0345 454 1111 from others), select faults & ask for a non fault technician visit (cost £25) to make up the required cabling & signal adjustments. You can also wait here for the Forum Team to respond, which may take a few days.

Hi @lparry516 👋

A warm welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.

As nodrogd has rightfully advised, we can arrange for a engineer to come out and relocate your equipment for you but there is a £25 non fault call out charge for this type of work.

If you are happy to proceed, then please reply to my PM 📩 and we can get this booked in for you.

Thanks
